My name is Ilka and I'm a personal brand stylist.
This means that I use my knowledge of clothes and styling to help you communicate who you are, in the way that gives you the most confidence, with the audiences that are important to you.
My role is to help you develop a strong personal brand that says who you are and what you stand for, before you say a word.
My advice isn’t driven by the latest trends, the fashion industry’s ideas of beauty of the ‘right’ shape: it is about making people more of who they already are. I work with your preferences (favourite colours or shapes or styles) and make them work better for you.
I believe that the right look makes us more confident, more visible, happier and more able to achieve our goals. This process of discovering what our best look is should be a pleasure, not a chore.
My background is in political science and I started out working with politicians in Germany, where I was born, in 2001. I subsequently studied Fashion Styling in London and Berlin and now live in West London with my family. I work with men and women, people who are leaders in their fields and those who want to become leaders, people with high public profiles and those who want to look good just for themselves.
